Here at B1-200 Laser Tag Arena we believe that one must do the best with what they have. While our amazing staff isn’t able to come up with a vaccine just yet, they are well equipped to give you a shot of fun and a change of these repetitive daily routines. In these challenging times we are setting up new and different ways to keep the fun alive, and what could be better than Laser Tag!
A lot of the safety measures we put into place as the pandemic took over should stay in place, such as the improved cleaning procedures and thereof of vaccination/ negative PCR of guests to keep both our team and our customers safe. The article looked at is “How to Zap COVID-19 in Your Laser Tag Facility” , where the author discusses great ways to bring back guests in a safe and reliable way.
The aftermath of lockdowns and isolation has changed a lot in many people, the second article “5 Ways Playing Laser Tag Benefits People of All Ages” looked at explains what ways laser tag benefits people of all ages. Points mentioned are promoting fitness, function as a stress buster and improve communication, these points prove beneficial post Covid-19 as they are skills we may have strayed from during the pandemic.
Drawing on these two articles and my experience in the past year working in the entertainment sector during a pandemic, I have listed three actions I would recommend to other entertainment companies that have struggled:
- Emphasise Sanitisation: by promoting on your social media and in your stores the sanitisation process and steps you and your team take to keep your venue clean will give your customer a sense of relief.
- Create Family Offers: by creating fun family offers and encouraging different age groups to come join the experience you are promoting fitness, providing a stress reliever and bringing back an activity that represents fun for all!
- Stay Safe: most importantly after such a tough year for all of us, business and customer - make sure to stay safe and follow the guidelines given to you by your local government.
I firmly believe that if you follow these steps it a great way to bring back footfall into your venues!
